PROHIBITIONISTS ARE THE REASON THESE GANGS EXIST

Sir: You report (10 July) that armed police roadblocks are being considered
to help tackle a feud between "drug gangs" in London. These are prohibition
gangs. Drugs have existed well before the gangs. Prohibitionists are the
reason these gangs exist.
