SMOKING AND SMOKING

I've been reading the paper and listening to all those pundits on TV news,
and I wonder if I got this right. It's not OK to smoke Marlboros -- it's
bad for you. It's OK to smoke pot -- it's good for you.

Am I missing something in the translation?
