CIGARETTES ARE WORSE THAN MARIJUANA

Ted Shannon scored lots of points by supporting re-legalizing 
cannabis in his column "Legalize marijuana," published Thursday Jan. 
9, 2014, on the Opinion page of the Calaveras Enterprise. However he 
completely missed the bull's eye when he wrote, "Smoking marijuana 
may be as or more harmful than inhaling cigarette smoke." In more 
than 5,000 years of documented use, cannabis hasn't killed a single 
person while cigarettes kill more than 1,000 Americans daily.

Cigarettes are among the most addictive substances on the planet, 
while cannabis is less addictive than coffee.

And cigarettes are enough to gag a maggot.
