Referenced: http://www.mapinc.org/drugnews/v09/n523/a02.html DRUG EDUCATION NEEDED Guy Buehler is wrong to suggest that the teen who allegedly sold ecstasy to his step-daughter Cassie Williams should be charged with her death. She took the equivalent of 18 doses. The seller is not responsible for her ignorant overuse of the drug. What we should focus on is making sure that if a 14-year-old takes ecstasy, he or she is aware of the danger and, more importantly, how much is too much. But, just as we struggle with sex education, we will struggle even more with drug education. Leaving kids in ignorance does not result in bliss, but death. Wake up, people.
