RULING ON MEDICINAL POT AMOUNTS TO NOTHING

Re: 'Judge allows medicinal pot plots' (Daily News, Feb. 4)

This ruling really means little-to-nothing. Health Canada has
repeatedly and brazenly ignored (or refused to comply with) previous
court rulings, so there is no reason to believe that they will "fix"
the program over the next year. It is more likely the government will
do what they have always done -- ignore the rulings and delay people's
applications, while simultaneously insisting that they actually are
complying. It is obscene.

And if the full story of Health Canada's corruption were ever revealed
to the public, they would be outraged to hear how their tax dollars
are being used to deliberately keep people from their medicine, simply
to keep prohibition alive.
