Stop government subsidized drug resistance education which brainwashes students (who become adults) into believing lies, half-truths and propaganda concerning cannabis (marijuana), claiming it is amongst the worst drugs. Truth is, the plant cannabis is safer than beer, wine or whiskey, hasn't killed anyone in over 5,000 years of documented use and is less addictive than coffee. How many citizens try cannabis and realize it's not nearly as harmful as taught in DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) type government environments? Then they think other substances must not be so bad either, only to become addicted to deadly drugs? The federal government even classifies cannabis as a Schedule I substance along with heroin, while methamphetamine and cocaine are only Schedule II substances. For the health and welfare of America, the message to the children and adults concerning the plant cannabis and harmful drugs must be honest. After all, honesty is the best policy.
