DON'T IGNORE IT; LEGALIZE

Re: "Terror Threat Next Door - We can't ignore drug violence just across
border," Wednesday Editorials.

I have discovered The Dallas Morning News' drug war editorial formula:
First, state the problem caused by the war on drugs. Second, blame
everything but the war on drugs for problem. Third, call for more
government to fix problem.

Making drugs illegal did not stop President Bush or Barack Obama from
using drugs. Plan Meridia will not stop violent cartels from selling
drugs. Drug cartel violence will only end when drug cartels are put
out of the drug business. Legalization, not another foreign war, is
the answer.
