RECRIMINALIZING POT POSSESSION WILL JUST WASTE MONEY, COURT'S TIME

So the buffoon residing in the governor's mansion criminalizes the
possession of ganja. All it will amount to, yet again, is tying up the
courts with a frivolous case ("ACLU files to block marijuana law,"
June 6). Hasn't Ravin vs. State been tested enough? Is the governor
suffering from a blackout or just forgotten that ganja received more
votes than did the governor in 1990? If his only justification is
potency, he might consider that you don't drink a six-pack of hard
alcohol. Also, unlike alcohol, to date there has never been a recorded
case of acute ganja poisoning. In summation, to paraphrase a popular
bumper sticker, "You can take away my joint when you pry my cold dead
fingers away."
