But when it comes to debating the nation's "war on drugs" there is no debate at any level of government. The federal government wages its war on drugs without allowing debate, as do all state governments. Billions of dollars are wasted on this despotic war, not to mention civil liberties violations, and we can't discuss it because there are more important things. Minnesota's former Gov.
