Sterle Jr's May 28 letter where he states he and his friends have permanent damage to their bodies and minds from the use of marijuana. All the studies I have read state no permanent damage occurs from the use of marijuana. In the 3,000 years it's been used, not one death has ever been recorded from its consumption. I have had friends ruin their lives and die from the effects of alcohol, but not marijuana. Gary Gall, Cambria, Calif. (All intoxicants pose risks.) - --- MAP posted-by: Jackl
