DRUGS CAN BE REGULATED, CONTROLLED AND TAXED The reason there is no shortage of people willing to become "drug mules" is because drug criminalization policies have made it easy to produce chemicals more valuable than gold. ("Drug Mules" Dec. 17.) Today's black market drugs are untaxed, unregulated and controlled by criminal gangs. Speaking of untaxed, both Canada and the U.S. are throwing away countless billions of potential tax dollars by keeping certain politically selected drugs as criminalized products. It's time to end this insanity so recreational drugs can be regulated, controlled and taxed. Kirk Muse (High time, eh, Kirk?) - --- MAP posted-by: Larry Seguin
