Well, duh! If the person taking the Oxycontin was following doctor's orders, maybe he or she wouldn't have OD'd. Drugs for medicinal purposes are prescribed by a physician in the correct amount for each individual. When taken as prescribed, then all should be fine. My wife suffers from a multitude of conditions, and she takes Oxycontin as prescribed by our doctor. It is a godsend for her; it helps her get through the day. People who take Oxycontin for a high are breaking the law. If you stick your finger in a fire, you are going to get burned. I'm sorry these families have lost loved ones, but don't blame the company. Put the blame where it belongs. Graham Smith Kissimmee - --- MAP posted-by: Larry Seguin
