OXYCONTIN NEEDED

"Rx for death," the name on your Web site for this series, screams its own
name, "sensationalism."

I am a retired clinical psychologist and spouse of an OxyContin user. My
husband has twice recently been offered amputations for his condition. Your
sensationalistic articles will undoubtedly have the sanctimonious again
looking askance at OxyContin users, while at the same time having the
medical establishment looking over its shoulder when prescribing a
much-needed drug.

OxyContin more than justifies its existence with compliant users in extreme
pain. As for the miscreants, none of your suggested "fixes" will have as
much effect on them as deleterious effects on lawful prescribers and users.
