POT SMOKERS A PEACEFUL LOT

To the editor:

I read your article on the peaceful pot-smoking group of 1,000 who 
celebrated Canada Day on the Dartmouth Common, then I read your article on 
the crowd of 1,200 drunken rioters who celebrated Canada Day in Edmonton by 
assaulting each other, the police, looting businesses, smashing store 
fronts and generally causing chaos and mayhem.

Kind of makes you wonder why the booze is legal and acceptable and the pot 
is not.
