I was surprised to see Obama's response to a question that millions
of Obama supporters want answered in the affirmative.
It's hard to tell how serious Obama is about the drug war at this
point, but we should not wait to see what crumbs he'll throw us.
I'm sick and tired of being a criminal for using cannabis when I have
done no harm to anyone. Any hypocritical SOB who thinks otherwise
better be ready to stand and deliver when I meet up with him/her.
That especially includes Obama.
I know full well that ALL DRUG LAWS ARE BASED ON LIES! Usually
hysterical racist lies which is one reason Obama's reluctance to
legalize marijuana is puzzling!
More than ten years of working with the Schaffer Drug Library
convinces me that America's drug crusade is the most stupid, unjust,
fiction based, corrupt, wicked, illogical, counterproductive policy
since chattel slavery.
If Obama has any integrity and a little grit he will at least end
marijuana prohibition.
We need to put every ounce of pressure on Obama that we can. I want
him to know that my support depends on how he handles the drug war.
If Obama plays reefer madness games none of his high flying notions
will ever come to pass. Faithful handling of little things precedes
greater deeds.
I'm fed up with being a criminal because a gang of self-interested
hypocrites wants to exploit fiction based drug laws. I won't support
these clowns no matter what mask they wear.
If you feel as I do let Obama know your position in no uncertain
terms- we do not want decriminalization- we want full legalization of
marijuana for adult use.
If Obama's position on marijuana does not change, we need to let him
know that we are a constituency that will not support him while he
denies justice to pot smokers.
Obama promised CHANGE and he better deliver.
We can hurt the Obama administration by voting opponents into office
in the mid-term elections- this could sabotage his legislative plans,
but we cannot afford to let him ignore us by blindly backing him
before he gives us our marijuana free and clear.
